• “Building the Town,” an interactive art installation with Bruce Orr at the Greater Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce's Visitor Center, 24 Harbor Loop

• “From the Deep: Gloucester in Motion — Live Painting and Art Giveaway” with Jennifer Loiselle at Revive Wellness, 232 Main Street

• From the Deep Highlights Video by Weiying Olivia Huang at 1623 Studios, 11 Pleasant Street

• “Salon of Art & Collectibles” on display at COSMOS Gallery, 20 Pleasant Street. Meet participating artists from the exhibition from 11:00 am - 6:00 pm

• New Work by Elizabeth Bish featuring new work from her monthlong Rocky Neck Art Colony-Goetemann Artist Residency on display at Amend Bish Gallery, 51 Rear Main St, Gloucester. Artist reception with refreshments. 

• Stephen LaPierre Opening Reception -  Key West en Plein Air Exhibit. Enjoy dozens of oil paintings of Key West, FL,  along with hot cider, fine food, and live wandering Pirate Musicians from 11:00 am - 6:00 pm. LaPierre’s Clowns with Cell Phones Museum will also be open. 11 Harbor Loop Pier #4.

• A Literary and Arts Scavenger Hunt at Sawyer Free Library, 2 Dale Ave. Visit the library, grab your scavenger hunt checklist, and win prizes if you find a book or art piece in the Organic Radiance exhibit in our Matz Gallery! Checklists and prizes will be behind the Main Desk. Just show your completed list to a staff member, and choose among several different prizes. You won't want to miss it!

• From the Deep Window Display at the Bookstore of Gloucester, 61 Main Street

• Cider and Denim Event at Denim on Denim, 114 Main St featuring a discount, brand new items, and fall themed snacks and drinks for customers and the Gloucester community.

• 11:00 - 3:00 pm: Free Sea Creative Children's Sketching Contest at Good Morning Gloucester, 44 Main Street. Prizes will be awarded and photos will be awarded. 

• 11:30 - 1:30 pm - Paper Fun, Coloring and Cut-outs with Betty Wiberg at the Sawyer Free Library Children's Room, 2 Dale Ave

• 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm: Walking Tour of “Imagining Gloucester’s Future” window murals with Miranda Aisling Hynes, starting at Saluti, 272 Main Street.

• 12:00 - 1:00 pm - Meet the Artist: Alex Stroup Paintings at Source Bakery

• 12:30 to 2:00 pm:  Bessie Blum Demo - Mosaic Techniques, materials available for visitors' own make-and-take small mosaics while (limited) supplies last at Local Colors, 121 Main Street

• 1:00 - 2:00 pm:  Shelley Nugent Glostah By The Sea~Glass presents “The process of creating art and jewelry from found objects, seaglass and beach stones” at Silverbear Emporium, 242 Main Street

• 1:00 - 6:00 pm: Opening Reception of “Jack Evans | Black Rag Blues” at Jane Deering Gallery, 19 Pleasant Street

• 2:00 - 3:00 pm: Lanes Coven presents "Moon and Back" by Joy & Aaron at The Cut, 177 Main Street

• 2:00 - 3:00 pm: “Changes Underway at the Sargent House Museum” a presentation at the Sawyer Free Library, 2 Dale Ave. Free event, registration requested

• 2:00 - 3:30 pm: Ingrid Jochimsen Demo - Layered Wooden Boxes Construction at Local Colors, 121 Main Street

• 2:30 - 4:00 pm: Songs From the Deep with Compass Bros (Michael O’Leary & Gary Dolinsky) in the Gorton’s Gallery at Maritime Gloucester, 23 Harbor Loop. In a family friendly concert Compass Bros will share an array of maritime songs and ballads, many with a connection to Cape Ann, including sing-alongs. Maritime Gloucester’s new executive director Dan Albani will also share news on all that’s in the works on the MG campus, and the gift shop will be open from 11-5.

• 3:00 - 4:00 pm - Poetry Reading with Gloucester’s Co-Poet Laureates Heidi Wakeman and Jay Featherstone followed by a collective poem crafting activity at Sawyer Free Library, 2 Dale Ave

• 3:30 - 5:00 pm: Susan Alvey Demo - Winding a Warp for Weaving at Local Colors, 121 Man Street
